Eastlake Buchanan VFD, Burnet, Hoover Valley VFD, Burnet Fire/EMS were also toned in AutoAid But canceled after the initial Interior attack. The building was saved along with the boat, Ranger and golf cart that was parked inside.

At 1458 hours on Friday the 27th, Cassie VFD assisted Llano County SO, Buchanan Dam VFD, Llano County EMS, DPS, LCRA on a Kayaker in distress on Lake Buchanan. CVFD responded with Rescue Boat 1 and assisted rescue efforts.
At 9 am Thanksgiving morning, Cassie VFD was toned to respond to assist Buchanan Dam VFD in Llano County. CVFD responded with Engine 2- 4421 and Tender 1- 4440 with a total of 4 firefighters.Engine 2 was assigned to fire attack and quickly knocked down the fire using CAFS, Tender 1 was assigned to water supply.Buchanan Dam VFD, Kingsland VFD, Hoover Valley VFD, Burnet VFD, Burnet EMS, Llano County EMS, and LLano County SO were on the scene.
at 1416 hours CVFD, Burnet EMS, Llano County SO, Buchanan Dam VFD and East Lake Buchanan VFD were called to Lake Buchanan for an overturn sailboat in rough waters.The wakes range from 2-6 feet that day. CVFD Firefighter J. Nugent and Fire Chief D. Cassie VFD was Requested to respond to Inks Lake State Park to assist Hoover Valley VFD and TPWD search for 2 hikers, who were lost on a trail.CVFD Command 1 4460 arrived on scene with Chief 4401. HVVFD requested to launch our UAV Drone 1 to assist in searching for the hikers. once Drone 1 was launched, there were reports that they had found the hikers, so Drone 1 was landed and all Cassie VFD units were cleared.

20:14 hours Cassie VFD was toned to staged at the station for Structure fire off of FM 2341 in East Lake Buchanan VFD district. Chief 4401 responded from the City of Burnet and made scene just after ELBVFD Engine 2, to a fully engulfed house and catching a second house on fire. Hoover, Valley, Burnet EMS, Burnet VFD and Cassie VFD toned to the 100 blk of Iroquois dr in Hoover Valley for a structure fire. upon arrival of HVVFD heavy smoke, fire knocked down. reduced all other incoming units. HVVFD command asking for a TIC, CVFD send their TIC in the command unit to assist. Fire was extinguished and overhaul was completed once the TIC was used to check inside the walls. water heater was the cause of the fire.
