FEMA trucks have arrived

The first couple of FEMA trucks have arrived and bought Cassie VFD 2 pallets of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat). We are still awaiting bottle water deliveries.
CVFD does have Canned drinking water to pass out, but in limited stock.

In the month of March Cassie VFD was notified from the Texas A&M Forest Service (TFS) and the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) that they have awarded us grants.The TFS award CVFD a HB2604 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) grant in a 90/10 split.

CVFD and Burnet County ESD #2 took delivery of a 2019 Chevy Tahoe from Siddons-Martin EVS. This Command SUV came loaded out. The new Command SUV is replacing the aging 2009 Ford Command.The Old Command SUV is the last Vehicle that the Fire Department purchased prior to the ESD.
